Good business economics is all about maximising revenue while
minimising costs. The key to a successful business is finding
the optimum level of each.
Our goal for the American Express International Travel Service
Network is to help you succeed.
TSNI On-line: Through the TSNI Website, Network Partners will
be able to provide direct access and expertise to American Express
Travel customers on-line. American Express is investing the
resources to develop this significant opportunity to market
travel on the Internet. This will be an unparalleled opportunity
to capitalise on the incredible strength and extraordinary expertise
of our Network.

Suppliers: American Express employs both local and global
supplier negotiation resources to maximise travel supplier
deals. One of our Network’s great strengths is the ability
to influence and shift purchasing decisions. American
Express will use its purchasing power to deliver the best
possible economics to our partnership. |

Partner
agencies can take advantage of a range of preferred distribution
agreements. For instance, our Worldwide Select Hotel Programme
provides negotiated rates of up to 53% off hotels’ standard
corporate room rates, available exclusively to customers who
book through an American Express Travel Network location.
In South Africa, American Express Travel has preferred supplier
programmes with travel vendors in a variety of industries.
Travel Financial Services: All American Express offices offer
our customers a range of financial services, including emergency
replacement of a lost or stolen American Express Card, emergency
funds access, and American Express Travellers Cheque sales
and refunds, among others. As a partner in the Network, you
can benefit from both the service fees paid to you by American
Express on these products and services as well as the tremendous
opportunity to cross-sell your own travel products to these
customers once they are in your agency. In South Africa, certain
conditions apply.
